In her magic world a knitted garment is not just an article of clothing. It is an organic growth compounded of warmth, love and fun. It's also intellectually stimulating.*
Welcome! ...to my little piece of the 'net! Teresa
Hey, we're depressed this side of the pond, too. Sigh. And more.

I haven't seen her. Last night was the first night I actually slept without waking in the middle of the night in a panic. My one consolation is the number of people who have come to me to commiserate. There's a lot of us who still believe in peace, love and tolerance and who believe that's where the real moral high ground lies.
I felt mopey all day yesterday - now I'm considering getting more active and involved. Just the idea of taking action is helping. Maybe. OK, maybe one more day of being a whiner, then I'll snap out of it. Yeah, right.

Hi Teresa: At this point, a bender sounds like a good idea - but I'd just be crying in my beer. Kerry shouldn't have conceded so early. I monitored polls in a largely minority Cincinnati neighborhood yesterday. There were A LOT of provisional votes cast. I also wonder how many citizens who voted yes on Issue 1 yesterday truly understood it. I am just SICK about the outcome of the presidential and Issue 1 contests. Guess I haven't cheered you up at all. Sorry.
